Meet our founder, Joe Mercadante.

Joe Mercadante

Founder & CEO

Joe Mercadante has been shaping the IT landscape for more than two decades. A pioneer in the managed services provider (MSP) space, he began his career in 1993 by building an IT department from the ground up for a respected environmental consulting firm. Within five years, he was a CIO leading enterprise-level operations and driving cultural change across major organizations.

By 2004, Joe saw a problem in the outsourced IT world: the model was broken. Clients were paying for reaction, not results. So he founded JPMerc & Co. to change that. His vision—The Complete IT Department—was designed to bring the sophistication of a Fortune 500 IT team to organizations of every size.

Joe’s leadership earned him a founding seat on the board of The MSP Alliance, the world’s largest association for cloud computing and managed services professionals. He continues to speak on industry panels and advise leading technology vendors across the country.

Outside of work, Joe channels his leadership through coaching and officiating college hockey and managing a local nonprofit music venue whose concerts have raised thousands for community charities.
